Please note: later versions of Aerolog® have a built in email
engine. There is no need to use Outlook Express. Off site backup can be made
direct from AeroLog®.

your data files c:\program files\aerolog\logdata.mdb
and c:\program files\aerolog\pilotlst.mdb. |
Using Outlook Express to email Logdata.mdb and
pilotlst.mdb
1. Start Microsoft Outlook Express
2. Click 'New Message' on the 'Message' Menu.
3. In the 'To:' box type... backup@flightace.com
4. In the 'Subject:' box type ... Off Site
backup for (Name)
5. Click 'File Attachment' on the 'Insert' Menu.
6. In the 'Look In' box, double click the (C:)
7. In the window below, double click 'Program Files'
8. Double click 'Aerolog'
9. Single Click on logdata.mdb
10. 'Logdata.mdb' should appear in the 'File Name' box.
11. Click the 'Attach' button.
12. Repeat procedure to attach 'pilotlst.mdb'
13. Click the 'Send' button. |
