View airstrips in Google Earth 3D
You may be able to tell me how to do something though. I had the older version which was different..,. as you know. well when I go into goggle an airport I used to be able to TILT it as - not look at it directly from above. Couldn't do that last night, but I was half asleep by then so..of you can tell me that would be good.

The 3D feature is still available, however it is not on the opening screen.
After the satellite photo loads:
1. Open drop down list and choose a state.
2. Click the "Load" button
3. Wait for airstrip list to load.
4. Click on a link for any airstrip.
5. Wait for information bubble to load at the airstrip position on satelite photo.
6. On the "Location" tab, click the "Google Earth" link.
7. This will open Google Earth with all airfield markers in place. You can use all the 3D tools that Google Earth has to offer, just like in the old version.
